Changes to the College Football Playoff Format

Strong Contenders for the 2025-26 Playoff
Ohio State
As the defending champions, Ohio State remains a top contender. However, repeating their success will be challenging due to significant roster changes. The Buckeyes are transitioning to a new starting quarterback and will need to replace several key running backs who have moved on to the NFL.
Penn State
Penn State is returning a strong group of skill position players, including quarterback Drew Allard and running backs Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen.
