20 Agribusinesses Secure $10,000 Each in Tullow AgriVentures Pitch 2025

Recognition of 20 Agribusiness Entrepreneurs

Twenty innovative agribusiness entrepreneurs have been celebrated as winners of the Tullow AgriVentures Programme Pitch 2025, each receiving US$10,000 in seed funding, business development support, and access to new markets. These individuals represent a diverse group of innovators across the agricultural value chain, showcasing solutions that aim to boost productivity, promote sustainability, and drive growth in the sector.

The award ceremony marked the culmination of months of rigorous training, mentorship, and pitching, where hundreds of agripreneurs competed for the opportunity to scale their businesses. From a pool of 25 finalists, 20 winners emerged after delivering compelling pitches that demonstrated innovation, scalability, and potential to strengthen Ghana’s agricultural value chains.

Collectively, the 20 winners will benefit from more than GH¢2 million in smart investments, highlighting the company’s commitment to driving agricultural growth, job creation, and food security in Ghana.

Diverse Range of Innovations

The winning ventures span the entire agricultural value chain, from climate-smart farming to agro-processing, digital platforms, and sustainable consumer products. Some of the notable ventures include:

Other winners include Mr. Kitchen, Ab O VO, Grow it Green, Mic-D Ventures, Fortune Coffee, Yava Farms and Agricultural Consultancy, Sava Shea, Peanut Concept, Farm 360, and Naya Success. Each of these ventures brings unique contributions to the agricultural landscape, addressing various needs within the industry.

Impact and Support

Beyond financial backing, these agribusinesses will receive tailored business development support, market linkages, and technical guidance through the Tullow AgriVentures Programme, implemented by the Innohub Foundation. The initiative is designed to catalyse sustainable agricultural growth, boost rural incomes, and create lasting economic impact in Ghana.

Nelson Madiba Amo, Executive Director of Innohub Foundation, described the initiative as a model intervention for agribusiness development. “This programme goes beyond training. It provides tailored business development, access to funding, and market opportunities that entrepreneurs truly need. We are proud of the winners, and we look forward to their journey of growth and impact,” he said.

Edmund Fiifi Enchill, Social Performance Manager at Tullow Ghana, reiterated the company’s commitment to investing in people and communities. “We believe that the resources of the countries where we operate should benefit the people. Through the Tullow AgriVentures Programme, we are creating sustainable opportunities for agripreneurs to scale, create jobs, and drive economic growth,” he stated.

About the Programme

The Tullow AgriVentures Programme (TAP) is part of Tullow’s broader community engagement strategy, Accelerating Progress Through Partnerships. The initiative aims to launch 600 new agribusinesses and support 30 growth-stage ventures, with a goal of creating 1,500 direct and 4,500 indirect jobs in Ghana.

Through its New Venture Creation and Venture Growth modules, TAP equips entrepreneurs with training, mentorship, technical support, and smart investments, strengthening Ghana’s agriculture sector and boosting rural incomes. This initiative underscores a long-term vision of fostering sustainable development and empowering local communities through innovation and collaboration.
